After graduating Chapman University’s film school, Lara started her career at Silver Pictures in feature production and development and worked on many projects including Sherlock Holmes, Book of Eli, Rocknrolla and Orphan. Her success at Silver Pictures led to her being promoted to Book Executive, where she was in charge of seeking out viable literary properties for television and film adaptation.

After her tenure at Silver Pictures, she took up writing. In 2016, her script FANGIRLS was voted as one of the best spec scripts of the year by industry professionals and landed on the coveted Hit List.

Lara has also just completed writing the first draft of her first novel, ANTI-CHRISTINA: THE FOOL.
